Masters Dry Land Training postponed

Tonight's training for both MNC Masters and Ethan Allen Biathlon Club are canceled due to high winds and heavy rain. Masters training is rescheduled for Thursday night this week.

Mansfield Nordic Club

The Mansfield Nordic Club (MNC) is a Burlington, VT based ski club. The goal of the MNC is to promote year-round physical fitness opportunities for people of all ages and abilities. We emphasize cross-country skiing and encourage participation in a wide variety of healthy activities.

The MNC Masters Skiing Program is for every adult skier who loves skiing, wants to improve and enjoys the camaraderie of skiing with others.

Our Masters Program has six paid coaches so we are able to make small, flexible groups by ability, fitness and confidence. Skiers can choose the group that feels best for them and may change groups as they improve and for skate or classic technique.

We are fortunate to be able to train on the world class trails at the Ethan Allen Biathlon Range in Jericho where snow making, lights and superb grooming provide optimal skiing conditions. We ski on Tuesday and Thursday evenings under the lights and have regular outings on weekends to local nordic centers. Our coaches lead trips and provide support to several popular races.

Our skiing is evenly split between classic and skate techniques with training in progressions and drills to ensure good skiing skills. At every level, we build technique, skills, joy and a passion for skiing on a foundation of fun, challenges and personalized technique coaching.
